WE’VE ALL BEEN there.
You’re in the middle of telling a story and midway through, you realise that it’s not as good as you thought it was. Fortunately for most of us, that realisation doesn’t happen n national television.
Enter Dan Tran, a Ph.D. candidate who recently appeared as a contestant on Jeopardy. When asked to recount a story about his time in Paris, Tran proceeded to regale the host about how he confused the sun for the moon because he was tired.
If you watch carefully, you can see the point when Tran realises that this is actually quite a boring story and not one worth sharing on TV.
Poor Dan.
